High-quality dessert pear, fairly common in the Canadian Maritimes but quite rare in the States.
Medium-sized warm-yellowy-green oblong-obovate-pyriform rather thick-skinned fruit sometimes with a very slight pink blush-more like a spot of rouge. Completely covered with hundreds of pinpoint gray dots. The buttery aromatic flesh is firm but not crisp with no grit cells. Keeps for a month. Will come as 3-6’ bare root.
Plant pickup will be May 16, 2026, at the office, located at 1423 Broadway, Bangor, ME from 9AM-2PM.
